Team Series returns for another season! Unlike Team League, Team is totally self contained with the existing ETS and requires no extra effort. Here’s a rundown of what you need to do to participate:
- A team captain will register two other players and a team name. This is the Team.
- Registration will close after midnight on the day before the fourth ETS of the season (October 12th).
- That’s it. That’s all the teams need to do.
So how does it work, if all the players do is register? Team members will play in the ETS as normal, and their success there will help their teams. Teams will be ranked based on the total current season IP of the members, using Community Championship Standings as the tiebreaker (which just means Season 4 SP, but is the cleanest way to see it). The best performing teams will be the ones who are winning the most ETS matches, so you’ll want to help each other be as successful as possible in that arena.
The six (6) best performing teams will be invite to the Team Series playoffs, which will probably not take place until after the ETS World Championships. The top two (2) teams will receive first round byes in playoffs. There, they’ll fight side by side to defeat their opponents and prove themselves the best team there is! This season, anyways.
Updated Week 8 of 8
Congratulations to the Top 6 teams!
Primary method of tracking success is Invitational Points, which is the main number shown. Community Championship standing is the tiebreaker, and is shown in brackets when necessary.
